So much has happened in the past year at Carlisle Lake! We are excited to have completed several much needed projects to make the park and trail much more accessible and user friendly. Click on the "Read More" button below to find out more about some of the changes that have taken place.
For years there has been a need for restrooms at the lake, and this year it's happened. The restrooms, made possible through a grant from Lewis County and the wonderful craftsmanship of Paul Sneed with Sneed Construction, will be finished in August or September. It will certainly be a welcome change for those participating in the Apple Fun Run/Walk!
Trail work was done this year by Roy Elliot of Elliot Construction. Roy and crew did a great job in widening the East side of the trail, removing brush and blackberry bramble, limbing trees and laying more gravel. Now our community can enjoy the 8 foot wide trail for walking/running and easier access to the lake! More to come!
