Become a Community Supporter

  • Creating community spaces like those found at Carlisle Lake and the Thomas J. Kinsman Memorial Park (Veteran’s Park)
  • Enhancing natural and cultural resources
  • Creating community celebrations through the Easter Egg Hunt and Apple Harvest Festival
  • Community action through youth scholarships, community dinners, holiday baskets and a relief fund
  • Creating partnerships with community groups
  • Working in partnership with Onalaska School District through the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Supporting Lewis County Tourism

Why should I become an active steward?

We believe that you will really appreciate the benefits of being a member. As a member you will:
  1. Become a partner in making your community a better place to live. You can take pride in that.
  2. Be notified of various volunteer opportunities throughout the community. Volunteering is a great way to feel more connected to your community.
  3. Receive recognition and awards. These will be given at our annual membership dinner, each 2nd Saturday of November.

How are your Contributions being used?

The Onalaska Alliance is committed to making our community a better place to live, work and play. When you contribute by becoming a member, your donations are used to:

  1. Maintain the Carlisle Lake Trail and Restrooms, including the restroom utility bills
  2. Support the Easter Egg Hunt and Apple Harvest Festival
  3. Cover Insurance and taxes that are required to keep our organization running
  4. Match dollars for grant projects
  5. Provide for Youth Scholarships
  6. Cover other operational expenses

I don't want to be a member, can I just Volunteer?

We would love that! Your time, talents and abilities are truly valuable. We appreciate your willingness to serve. Click on this link to be taken to our volunteer page. There you'll be prompted to sign up for our community emails. You'll also be able to download our Volunteer Waiver for Minors, and the Volunteer Handbook.

I don't want to be a member, can I just donate money?

Of course you can. By becoming a member you allow us to recognize you for your generosity. Every year we will host a membership dinner in your honor. We like doing things like that, but we also know that there are some folks who prefer to help out behind the scenes. We also realize that there are folks who can't donate $60/year. Every little bit helps, so if you would like to donate anything from $5.00 on up, please use our Pay Pal Button below. Thank you in advance for your help in making our community sustainable.

This website is funded in part by grants from the Lewis County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, Twin Star Credit Union and the Onalaska Alliance, and it is maintained by community volunteers. We'd like to say thank you to everyone involved. So, "Thanks! We couldn't do this without you."
