ABOUT THE ALLIANCE

Mission Statement

Onalaska Alliance for Sustainable Community is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2009 whose mission is to develop innovative and sustainable economic and educational opportunities compatible with a rural lifestyle in Onalaska and the surrounding area, to unite people of diverse backgrounds to reduce poverty, to enhance and develop cultural and natural resources, to develop alliances with surrounding communities, and to promote the common goals of community and celebration.
We are 100% volunteer run, and we can use more folks like you in our community!
Please consider visiting our Donation Page or Volunteer Page. Have question? Contact us!
Onalaska Alliance is dedicated to building a sustainable community and making Onalaska a better place to live and play. We do this by:
  • Creating community spaces like Carlisle Lake and the Thomas J. Kinsman Veteran's Memorial Park
  • Enhancing natural and cultural resources
  • Creating community celebrations: Easter Egg Hunt and Apple Harvest Festival
  • Community action: youth scholarship, community dinners, holiday baskets and a relief fund
  • Creating partnerships with community groups
  • Partnering with Onalaska School District STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
  • Supporting Lewis County Tourism
